Hong Kong has always remained to me an enigma. No matter how many times I stroll through the crowded streets, walk among the other commuters in the MTR, I could never quite grasp the bustling vitality that espouses the spirit of the city. A idiosyncratic blend of east and west that I'm especially drawn to, though naturally the Orient reigns strong in terms of influence.

Below are a few things I enjoyed (and ate) on my previous trips. Hopefully it can provide some novel ideas for a recurring trip, or urge one to visit the wonderous streets.

Star Ferries run year-round across the Victoria harbor. Catch one from Central to Kowloon to get a panoramic view of the harbor.
