Omakase at Sushi on Jones was a chilly, blustery, but definitively delicious experience. Situated amongst several other eateries in a shared outdoor food vending space, the chefs here serve up 30 minute omakase for $50, and reservations are only accepted by text. Call, (I tried), and you'll get a wonderful jingle sung to you, about how you should've texted instead.

The fish was fresh, the portions perfect, and the uni wagyu handroll (not pictured) at the end is a must try.

At $50, omakase here is well worth the price, especially given their emphasis on quality ingredients.

 Fresh uni.

Fresh uni.

Torched wagyu, a beautiful process to behold:

All in all, an adorable, well-priced gem on Jones street.
