Taiyaki NYC is a new addition to the Chinatown dessert scene. Verdict? Definitely worth the wait. Pictured: Black sesame and green tea soft-serve topped with a mochi stick, in a fish-waffle cone with red bean filling inside. 

 

CoolMess: starting with basic ingredients and choose-your-own additions, you can create your own sundae from a vanilla or chocolate base. Clearly I chose the latter flavor, not the most photogenic but still good ice-cream.
